Fans of the Treasure Island music festival now have something to look forward to as organizers announced a few months ago that the festival would return on October 13 & 14th, 2018 after taking a short hiatus. The festival now going on its 11th year is excited to call Oakland, California’s Middle Harbor Shoreline Park (MHSP) its new home. “We are excited to finally reveal the next chapter of our Festival, which is coming to Oakland this October. The city’s vibe, culture, and diversity is the backbone of the Bay Area, and one that we are proud to now call home,” said Allen Scott, EVP at Another Planet Entertainment. “In our quest to find the location that best embodies what has made Treasure Island Music Festival the special fest that it is, Middle Harbor Shoreline Park quickly became the clear choice. With breathtaking landscapes featuring views of both the San Francisco Bay and city skylines, while maintaining a unique sense of remoteness and being situated atop a historically significant site, we hope to continue offering our guests a truly special music festival experience.”
The line-up will feature Tame Impala and A$ap Rocky topping the bill along with additional performances by Lord Huron, Santigold, Silk City (Diplo + Mark Ronson) and a dozen others spread out over the two days.
