Los Angeles duo Scavenger Hunt is the brainchild of producer/multi-instrumentalist Dan Mufson and vocalist/songwriter Jill Lamoureux, drawn together on a common interest in ’80s and ’90s pop and R&B, and taking influence from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Annie Lennox, Sade, and Robyn.
After teasing their EP “Shapes and Outlines” over the summer, Scavenger Hunt returns with the final single from the four-track collection called “Slow Dancing.” The moody cut features singer Jill Lamoureux’s wistful vocals over steady retro-synth production to create gorgeous indie pop melodies the duo has become known for.
In addition to revealing their “Shapes and Outlines” EP, Scavenger Hunt also shares a six-track remix package of the songs. The remix EP is perfect for your weekend playlist and includes double remixes of each track by Cavego, The Midnight, Dan Dan Noodle, Prank Call, Birdee, and POLO. Each remix manages to keep the original tracks’ dreamy pop vibes, but give them each a dash of new flavor, making for remixes just as good as the originals.
Scavenger Hunt’s sophomore EP “Shapes and Outlines” and the remix package are both out now.
