Last night, stars from the world of music, celebrity and fashion came together to celebrate the third annual “Gabrielle’s Gala” fundraiser to take place in London at the renowned Old Billingsgate, London.
The event, which was produced by Total Management, raised just under £700,000 that will go on to provide vital funding for research in the fields of leukaemia, lymphoma, and related cancers here in the UK.
Generously sponsored by Lorraine Schwartz, attendees of the evening included Rita Ora, Lindsay Lohan, Nicola Roberts, Edith Bowman, Leah Weller, Chloe Green, Ronan Keating, Lady Victoria Hervey and Say Lou Lou, among others.
Stars walked the red carpet before enjoying the champagne reception and performance from singing duo, Verity and Violet. The evening was hosted by BBC Radio 2 DJ and presenter Edith Bowman; during the event guests were moved by the personal story of Yaser Martini and his family’s quest for a donor for his daughter Margot’s bone marrow transplant. The gala dinner was followed by a live auction, hosted by Simon de Pury, where lots included jewellery from Lorraine Schwartz, a 6-day luxury charter yacht holiday, tickets to London’s very first Victoria Secret Fashion Show, a VIP race weekend at the 2014 Formula One Santander British Grand Prix, and an exclusive vineyard tour of the world’s most expensive wine. Pop sensation, Rita Ora, got guests on their feet dancing, before Bip Ling closed the gala with a bang with an exclusive DJ set.
Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation UK has opened an on online auction to further funds for the gala. People can bid on lots until Wednesday 21st May here:
