Yesterday, 11th October 2012, the New Range Rover was unveiled at “Salone dei Tessuti” in Milan.
With Land Rover’s legendary off-road capability at its heart, the next-generation Terrain Response® system analyses the current driving conditions and automatically selects the most suitable vehicle settings for the terrain. The revolutionary lightweight structure has transformed performance, refinement and handling. The clean and elegant surfaces of the interior are flawlessly presented using the finest leathers and veneers.
For the discerning executive its a perfect status car, with an option to load up the family or a group of friends and explore the wilderness with effortless ease on the weekends. Underneath the sheetmetal, a new fully independent air suspension lifts the aluminum unibody Range Rover for difficult off road conditions. More front and rear wheel travel and pneumatically cross-linked air springs simulate the kind of articulation formerly only available with solid axles, which further improves the outgoing model’s already formidable capability. Ground clearance is up 0.67 inches for a total of 11.9 inches when the air suspension is raised to its top position. The increased wading depth means the vehicle can drive through 900 mm of water with ease.
