Missoni – Menswear Spring/Summer 2015 Collection in Milan in Milan Fashion Week: Men’s SS15
Surfer, backpacker and adventurer, the Missoni man mixes heady colours and fine textures exclusively produced in the factory of the Italian house… This mixed casting perfectly complements a style stamped with exoticism, and the surfer which we saw last winter comes back for next summer, with several references to the underwater world. On the carpeted runway, a metallic Berber tent structure covered in a patchwork of materials allows us to discover the inspiration behind the prints: North Africa. The Missoni adventurer dresses exclusively in wool. Worked in a very light fashion, knitwear is even worn next to the skin, in the form of a sleeveless zipped waistcoat, which reappears throughout the collection, even worn beneath a suit jacket. Zigzag graphics, the trademark of the house, were offered this time in blue, yellow and ochre. Easiness dominates on long djellaba jumpers and ultra supple knitted suits. A scarf slung over the shoulder emphasises this refined nonchalance
