The lineup for Louisville, Kentucky’s Louder Than Life music festival is arguably there biggest to date. Over four days, September 23 through the 26, fans will be head banging again to performances by Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, Judas Priest, Korn and Jane’s Addiction. Also on the stacked bill are Snoop Dogg, Mudvayne, Rise Against, The Distillers, Machine Gun Kelly, Cypress Hill, Stained and many more. Similar to California’s Aftershock festival, which is also produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, Metallica is slated to headline two nights (Friday and Sunday). Thursday headliner will feature Korn and Nine Inch Nails will close out Saturday.
Organizers wanted to make sure they put a lot of thought into this year’s festival, since 2020 like most events had to be postponed due to Covid concerns. “DWP has always considered Louisville home, so to be able to bring America’s Biggest Rock Festival back in 2021 means everything to us,” stated promoter Danny Wimmer. “After a year filled with challenge after challenge, we worked incredibly hard to curate a lineup worth the wait for our fans.”
There is no doubt that live music is coming back big and it can’t some soon enough for all us! Fans should act quickly as demand is high and past festivals have sold out.
