Festival season is heating up in the U.S. now that pandemic concerns are slowly normalizing. Many organizers have packed their events into a fall timeline, but Lollapalooza is returning to its normal end of summer schedule taking place July 29 through August 1st.
Packed into four consecutive days at Chicago’s massive Grant Park, are headliners The Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone and Tyler The Creator. Lollapalooza known for its musical diversity will also feature Journey, the return of Limp Bizkit, Illenium, Megan The Stallion, Marshmello, Jack Harlow, Modest Mouse, Young Thug, Steve Aoki and Young The Giant to name a few.
100,000 people per day are expected as officials have given the go-ahead for a full capacity festival.
Organizers say they are working with current local public health guidance and full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results will be required to attend Lollapalooza 2021. For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 24 hours of attending Lollapalooza each day. Details on the festival entry process will be available in early July.
The end of summer and Fall 2021 is looking to be an amazing time and the return of live music in full gear and that’s something we are all excited to have back!
