Global Green USA Announces 9th Annual Gorgeous & Green Gala in San Francisco

 

The Green Gatsby will be hosted by actress Rosario Dawson, actress Maggie Grace, actor Ian Somerhalder, Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and Jennifer Siebel Newsom. The glamorous event will be a Jazz Age celebration featuring a cocktail reception, an elegant gourmet organic dinner by Michelin-starred Chef Ken Frank of La Toque, a live auction, Eco-Accolades awards, live musical performance by a surprise musician, an eco-couture runway fashion show, and glitzy soiree to round out the evening.

 

The runway fashion show will invoke the glamorous Great Gatsby era showcasing vintage couture looks from the Jazz Age, featuring Brooks Brothers, including select fashions from the recent blockbuster hit, The Great Gatsby, top conscious fashion designers, and premier ethical brands including Decades of Fashion, eBay Green, Torso Vintages,  Cari Borja, Rose La Mer and theArtful Gentleman

Runway music by Ken Jordan of The Crystal Method.

 

Proceeds from the event will benefit Global Green USA and its ongoing efforts and programs devoted to green schools, green affordable housing, and the green rebuilding of New York (Solar for Sandy), San Bruno in the Bay Area, and New Orleans.
