Interview: Christian Pellizzari – Men Spring/Summer 2015 Collection in Milan in Milan Fashion Week: Men’s SS15

For the show, the designer reworks classics but in a very personal way, adding a cheerful coolness and notes of the exotic. Walking barefoot on a turf runway, boys and girls parade in suits embroidered with little embossed bows or pink jacquard flowers. Tailoring is present across all the essentials of the masculine wardrobe – jeans, white shirts, jackets, straight-line pants but with an extra fresh twist and splashes of colour! An array of materials – silk, jacquard, cotton, natural and technical fibres – appear on a light-reflecting suit, embroidery and accessories, which all animate this extremely well-crafted collection, mixing a couture mood with sportswear. An American gigolo in Italy!
