MIAMI BEACH, Fla., May 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — On May 18th, Miami Fashion Week 2014 Resort Collections wrapped up successfully after four days filled with spectacular runway shows highlighted by internationally renowned designers such as Custo Barcelona, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Andres Sarda, with their European take on luxury cruise and resort fashion, as well as special showcase collections by Maliparmi, Stella Jean, Yamamay and Indie Soul.
Miami Fashion Week’s closing night kicked off with a Pret-a-Porter showcase with leading designers, including Paulo Silva, known for his provocative aesthetic; Matias Hernan which mixes classical design with futuristic edginess; and Anna Mora, Barcelona designer that is known for utilizing premium ultra-luxury textiles in every garment. The show was followed by renowned American designer, Sherri Hill, who highlighted her latest contemporary evening wear collection that have been a sensation amongst celebrities and VIPs alike, and worn at premier red carpet events around the world.
Ending on a playful and colorful note, the sold out fashion show concluded with none other than Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, internationally renowned Spanish designer, where she lit up the runway with her vibrant and colorful designs that have been recognized and celebrated worldwide as works of art.
To celebrate the great success of a tremendous fashion week, celebrities, designers and VIPs resumed the fashion soiree festivities at the Surfcomber Hotel in Miami Beach for the official Miami Fashion Week 2014 Resort Collections closing party.
