Monique Lhuillier Fall 2015 collection plays on the juxtaposition of masculine versus feminine for effortless sophistication. Fluid silhouettes inspired by the seductive 1920’s are contrasted by modern, structured shoulders and tailoring to create dramatic lines. Rich jewel tones saturate the collection – the color palette of radiant emerald, cobalt, deep violet and teal are accented by hues of moss and ochre. Black is replaced by deep plum and midnight for glamorous mystique.
Tailored mid-calf skirts, cigarette pants and structured jackets are accented by draped blouses and liquid satin dresses, taking the silhouette back to the body for a sensual fit. Floral camo jacquard reoccurs throughout in shades of emerald, plum and cobalt with accents of Guipure lace and embroidery. Star-embellished tulle, revealing cut-outs and sheer, shimmering evening gowns are enhanced by bold tuxedo jackets beneath embellished mink and long-haired fox jackets.
This Fall 2015 marks the launch of Monique Lhuillier’s accessories collection with confident and alluring designs. Sandals, boots, booties and pumps are cut to flatter in rich leathers and textiles with sculptural metal detailing. Inspired by gemstones, faceted minaudières in metal and Lucite with caged crystal hardware accent a versatile capsule of clutches including fur, embroidery and leather.
In attendance were Louise Roe, Brittany Snow, Alexandra Von Furstenberg, Kelly Rutherford, Brad Goreski, Sutton Stracke and Jamie Tisch
