Here we go again! Organizers have unveiled their incredible lineup for the 2024 edition of the Aftershock Festival. Now billed as the biggest hard rock festival on the West Coast, the stacked line-up features heavy metal legends Iron Maiden, Mötley Crüe, Slipknot, and a reunited Slayer. Also onboard for the 2024 edition is Pantera, who pulled out last year for circumstances beyond the band’s control.
This year’s celebration of heavy music will return once again to Sacramento, California’s Discovery Park, the weekend of Oct. 10-13 for four days of hard rock, mayhem, and headbanging fun. The festival is expanding to five stages this year, allowing for over 130 bands throughout the weekend, which also include Five Finger Death Punch, Evanescence, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Lindemann, Cypress Hill, Rise Against, Stained, Anthrax, Setther, Halestorm, Sevendust and so many others.
“This is the biggest Aftershock lineup we have ever curated and the largest rock and metal festival ever put together in California.” – Said organizer Danny Whimmer
According to Danny Wimmer Presents, aftershock will be Iron Maiden’s only U.S. festival stop this year. It’s also the only West Coast performance for Slayer and the Aftershock debut for Mötley Crüe, organizers said.
The 2024 edition will mark the 12th Aftershock Festival, which started in 2012 as a one-day event and now has expanded to four days and five stages. Last year’s festival drew 160,000 attendees, Aftershock organizers said and brought millions of dollars to Sacramento’s economy.
Tickets, festival passes, and hotel packages are on sale at aftershockfestival.com. Four-day general admission passes are $389.99, and single-day general admission tickets are $129.99, according to the website.
