Organizers and fans alike are breathing a sigh of relief as live music is looking to be finally back. After three postponements and multiple line-up changes, Napa Valley’s signature music and arts festival BottleRock is back on Labor Weekend with an impressive lineup. The festival is scheduled for Sept 3 – 5, 2021 and takes place at Napa Valley Expo located in the heart of downtown Napa and wine country.
The headliners for the three-day festival now include Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Stevie Nicks and Miley Cyrus. Both Stevie and Miley were also on the original 2020 lineup that had to be postponed because of the pandemic. Other acts on board now are G-Eazy, Megan The Stallion, Run The Jewels, Portugal The Man, Cage The Elephant, Mavis Staples, Brandi Carlile and Black Pumas as well as several others.
BottleRock has built a solid festival reputation that strives on showcasing musical diversity and appeals to all age groups. The event is more than just music. Set in Napa, BottleRock highlights the region’s wine, craft beer, and local culinary achievements. Information about this year’s Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage will be released at a later time.
Organizers say tickets for the 2020 festival will be valid for this year’s event.
The festival will be following all local and state COVID-19 health guidelines, organizers say, but exactly what those guidelines will be when the festival takes place is unclear. California is expected to fully reopen by summer.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing live music back to the Napa Valley this fall, arguably the most beautiful time of the year in wine country,” says Dave Graham, CEO of BottleRock Napa Valley. “We are happy to reward our loyal fans with a lineup that once again features a wide variety of genres, combining legendary performers with up and coming bands and some of the most talked-about artists in the world.”
It’s been a long wait, but now it seems with music festivals popping up everywhere, eager fans will have their fill and BottleRock is looking to be at the top of your planning list.
Tickets, which organizers say are extremely limited will go on sale Thursday, May 20, so don’t delay.
Daily lineups will be announced on May 24, with single-day ticket sales following on May 27.
