NEW YORK, NEW YORK (December 5,2013) – The Tommy Hilfiger Group, which is wholly owned by PVH Corp. (NYSE: PVH), is pleased to announce that GQ and Tommy Hilfiger honored Josh Charles, Victor Cruz, Carson Daly and John DeLucie at the Men of New York event at the Tommy Hilfiger Fifth Avenue Flagship on Thursday, December 5. The celebration was attended by New York-notables and influencers including Gabe Saporta, Cobra Starship; Erin Fetherston, model/designer; Frank Ferrer, drummer, Guns ‘n Roses; Adewale Akinnuoya-Agbaje, actor, Thor: The Dark Underworld.
The annual event, now in its second year, celebrates the contributions of some of the city’s most gifted artists, musicians, athletes, actors and entrepreneurs. This year’s event benefitted The Fresh Air Fund.
It was a night of fashion and entertainment as guests enjoyed a specialty tasting of Hudson Baby Bourbon whiskey and Bronx Brewery beer with hors d’oeuvres provided by Crown Hospitality Group. New York City-based collective, The Misshapes, comprised of DJ’s Leigh Lezark, Geordon Nicol and Greg Krelenstein, provided music throughout the evening.
New York is the iconic home of the Tommy Hilfiger brand, and the city where Tommy first started the company over 27 years ago. Tommy Hilfiger has always supported the inspiring talent and unique spirit of New York City through programs and partnerships with some of the city’s top businesses and non-profit organizations. The Men of New York event reflects the brand’s legacy of highlighting the achievements of influential people who make significant contributions to their communities.
Tommy Hilfiger has been a longtime supporter of The Fresh Air Fund, and this year GQ and the Tommy Hilfiger Group dedicated this year’s funds to the non-profit organization. Tommy Hilfiger U.S.A., Inc. will donate 20% of sales from the evening to The Fresh Air Fund.
